Living with T-cell/histiocyte rich large B cell lymphoma

A rare type of lymphoma that mainly affects middle-aged men and is often found at an advanced stage.

Understanding T-cell/histiocyte rich large B cell lymphoma

T-cell/histiocyte rich large B cell lymphoma (THRLBCL) is a rare variant of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.

It mainly affects middle-aged men. It is often not found until an advanced stage, and it involves the spleen, liver, and bone marrow more often than typical diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. It can be hard to diagnose because it looks like other lymphoid diseases such as Hodgkin lymphoma.
