Living with Subaortic stenosis-short stature syndrome
A rare genetic condition with short stature and narrowing of the heart's outflow just below the aortic valve.
Understanding Subaortic stenosis-short stature syndrome
The narrowing (subaortic stenosis) gets worse over time. Other features can include an upturned nose, voice and vocal cord differences, lung disease, hernia in the groin, and a curved spine. Some people have eye differences or widely spaced teeth. Signs may begin at birth. GARD notes no further descriptions in the literature since 1984.

- Narrowing below the aortic valve
- Heart rhythm changes
