Living with Paraganglioma
A rare tumor that grows from nerve-related cells called paraganglia, which can be benign or cancerous.
Understanding Paraganglioma
It can be benign (not cancer) or malignant (cancer). Tumors that arise in the adrenal gland are called pheochromocytomas. GARD says there are no reliable ways to tell benign from malignant under the microscope. The only definite sign of malignancy is spread to other areas.
