Understanding Mosaic trisomy 8
It can affect many parts of the body, and signs vary. They may include distinctive facial features, intellectual disability, and joint, kidney, heart, and skeletal differences. Males are more often affected than females. Diagnosis may be based on chromosome analysis, such as a karyotype.
